DIY Gift Ideas for your special someone

Sometimes the best gifts are the simple ones – gifts that you make yourself or gifts that last a while. I love gifts that smell good, which is one of the reasons I was so drawn to essential oils in the beginning. So instead of sharing a story, I thought I would just share some of my favorite ideas. If you’re looking for some last minute gift ideas for your sweetheart or if you need something to pamper yourself, here is a list of resources that I have used in the past.

Do you or your partner enjoy a fragrant home? Or want a special, luxurious fragrance for a special night? Try these diffuser blends – no cooking or crafting skills needed. (These blends were shared in one of my private YL oil groups so I can’t take credit.)

There are plenty more diffuser blends, too. If your partner is feeling homesick (maybe you recently relocated?) here are some blends on the Young Living blog to remind them of their home state. If you want your home to smell like you made dessert, here is a great list of dessert-scented blends. And here is the link to a past post filled with even more ideas for using your diffuser.

Do you or your partner love to feel luxurious? Here are some great pampering gift ideas. There are nine great oils that are great for pampering … and they’re even better in home-made bath salts. No craft skills necessary for creating these little bath bombs for your loved one.

If you’re not feeling up to making anything (and, trust me, I’m right there with you this year) Young Living has some great suggestions that I’ve used fairly recently. From lip gloss to bath salts to tea sets, here are some great ideas. Although these infographics are more gender-specific in their target, I think there are great ideas for anybody in each list.

My final recommendation is for the chocolate lover. I love, love, love me some chocolate. Truly, it’s one of my favorite things in this world. Young Living’s Chocolessence Truffles are different from standard chocolate, with complex flavor of YL’s exclusively sourced Ecuadorian Dark Chocolessence Truffles. Try this snack recipe that can adapt to almost any age. This treat is perfect for sweet-toothed and health-conscious alike. And, best of all, you don’t need to be crafty to create it! (this recipe was shared in my YL distributor downline so I can’t take credit.)

If you are interested in any of these oils for Valentine’s Day, feel free to PM me. There’s definitely time to order them and I can help with that.
